April 2026:
From Florence to Pavia: CEYMH’s Scientific Journey in Italy
At the end of March 2026, our team traveled to Italy to participate in two major international conferences focused on mental health, psychosis, and schizophrenia: the Schizophrenia International Research Society (SIRS) conference in Florence and the 4th DISCOURSE in Psychosis consortium meeting in Pavia.

We are proud to announce that our team has received the 2026 Luminas Award from the CIUSSS de l’Ouest-de-l’Île-de-Montréal for excellence in partnerships and our director, Lena Palaniyappan, was honoured with an individual award in teaching and research.

March 2026:
BLOOM project reaches 200 participants!
We are proud to announce the participation of 200 individuals in our Bloom project.
This youth mental health research project aims to better understand the onset of mental health challenges in adolescents and young adults, contributing to their prevention and improving access to specialized mental health care. It addresses key questions about mental development, emotional well-being, and psychological trajectories in young people.
