A music therapy expert at the Douglas Mental Health University Institute
As a Certified Music Therapist, Daniel supports young people by focusing on listening, autonomy, and creativity. For the past year, he has ensured the continuity of the motivational interviewing supervision group, a space that has become essential for clinicians at the Centre intégré universitaire de santé et de services sociaux de l’Ouest-de-l-Île-de-Montréal. His leadership and ability to share this relational approach were quickly noted by his peers.
A grant dedicated to excellence in youth mental health
The CEYMH Boeckh Training Award supports professionals committed to continuing education in youth mental health and early intervention. It funds official training, specialized workshops, and national or international conferences.
Daniel was selected for his ongoing commitment to skill development, ability to apply his learning in clinical practice, and role as a mentor to his colleagues.
