Mécanisme d’accès en santé mentale jeunesse (MASMJ)
The MASMJ is a centralized access point designed to help children and adolescents aged 0 to 17 quickly connect to appropriate mental health services. The service reviews requests, assesses needs, and directs youth to the most suitable supports or professionals within the public health system. Its primary aim is to reduce delays and ensure timely, effective mental health support for young people and their families.
Aire Ouverte
Aire ouverte provides youth-friendly, whole-person health and wellness services for young people aged 12 to 25 and their families. The program offers accessible, personalized support for physical, mental, sexual, and social health needs, with the flexibility to connect youth to additional services when needed. Care is offered through in-person visits, walk-in services, and phone support across multiple locations, with an emphasis on meeting young people where they are.
Prevention and Early Intervention Program for Psychosis (PEPP-Montréal) & Clinic for the Assessment of Youth at Risk (CAYR)
PEPP-Montréal offers specialized early intervention services for youth and young adults aged 14 to 35 experiencing a first episode of psychosis, as well as for those who are struggling with early signs and changes in functioning. Through its CAYR clinic, the program provides rapid assessment and supportive follow-up for young people whose symptoms may not yet meet criteria for a psychotic disorder, with the goal of stabilizing difficulties, strengthening protective factors, and supporting overall well-being. Care is personalized, family-inclusive, and informed by ongoing research, with attention to social recovery, co-occurring challenges such as substance use, and strong therapeutic relationships.
