We are thrilled to share that our collaborator’s proposal from Nova Scotia, “Early Identification of Risk for Major Depressive Disorder from Parent and Youth Speech,” has received a positive CIHR decision.
The project has been officially approved and funded by CIHR for a duration of four years. Congratulations to the entire team on this exciting achievement!

Congratulations to our CIHR Project Grant Recipients!
CIHR results for the last project grant competition were published today. We are pleased to report that in this latest competition, Douglas researchers have secured nearly $2M – congratulations to our successful applicants, and thank you to Dr. Dominique Walker, who chairs the Internal Grant Review Committee, as well as to all the researchers who gave their time to review their colleagues’ applications.
